Extreme Hummus in Citrus Heights

One of the best places to get gyros around. The hummus is incredible and well everything on the menu is to die for. I eat here at least once a month since they have been open and I have never had a complaint. Friendly service and awesome food. Sorry no photos cause I always eat it first.

Love this place. Try the pesto hummus. You won't regret it. The drive thru is also convenient and not something I've seen from a hummus/gyro place before.

Heard someone mention Extreme Hummus recently, so I stopped by late on a Monday night to pickup a late dinner for me and the girl. Wow, we were pleasantly surprised! We both got bowls, mine with extreme hummus/lamb beef, hers with chicken/original hummus. The complexity and depth of the flavor blew us both away. Generous with the meat, and you can see by looking at the dish that it is made with care. Will definitely be back! Best Greek I have tried, above some great places in San Jose.

This place has delicious food and friendly staff who greet you while walking and thank you when you leave. I highly recommend this place! We are very happy with Extreme Hummus. Be sure to go there on an empty stomach because you want to eat everything like me. :) Enjoying!

You need to try this place! Everything I have had here is amazing! Try the Greek fries you won't regret it. The staff is very nice and the food comes our fresh and hot. I drive past this place often and I find it hard to resist stoping in for a bite.

SO GOOD! MY fiance's family is middle eastern so my standards are a little high, but Extreme Hummus blew them out of the water! The flavor of the meat - fantastic. The falafel - to die for! To top it all off, the hummus was so good I can already tell I'll be dreaming about it! Highly recommend this place!

This was a wonderful place. Our first trip here has been good. I had the beaf and Lamb gyro and the wife had the chicken gyro. Food was delicious. The two guys behind the counter were nice and a great help in our decision making.. top notch.. will definitely be coming back..

Nice family run shop. Great flavor options for the hummus. Tried both the Cilantro Jalapeno and garlic, they were really enjoyable. Naan bread had a rich buttermilk taste. Good falafel. Definitely will return.

Oh my goodness! This place is sooooo good! Like the flavors happening in my mouth... The owner is super sweet and makes everything from scratch. The vinegarette dressing is strangely refreshing and delicious. I can’t put my finger on the flavor/spices (magic?) . So happy I found this place right by my house.

My new FAVORITE place! I've been driving by this place for months now and haven't stopped in. Today I made my first stop and was amazed to find so many options for me as a vegetarian and the prices were so reasonable. I ordered a Greek wrap and a baklava for a treat after lunch. The food was AMAZING and so much healthier than fast food!! There are still so many things I need to go back and try. I will be stopping in way more often.

Got the beef/lamb plate, It was delicious! 1st time coming here... I really enjoyed it. The two guys were very nice and brought food to the table. Fair serving sizes and good flavor. I got the spicy hummus it was good! I want to return and get greek fries they looked great!

Really enjoyed their Greek fries. A must to try! Decided to also order their chicken bowl with chipotle hummus. Every bite was very favorable. Will definitely come back.

We arrived at this place for lunch. we heard about this place from quite a few people. Well, it was very nice. we were warmly welcomed by the crew and we had a great feeling. The food was just great. We loved this place a lot and we shall definitely come back again. we highly recommend this place.

Very tasty. They appeared to be training new staff, so things were a bit chaotic and slow, but the food is very good. I will try it again.

I look for authentic Mediterranean food restaurants but usually they are more Greek than anything else this has Dholma and Falafel the white yogurt sauce I usually order the garlic hummus. I can have the most filling high protein meal and its vegetarian!

My qualifications for this rating is Lebanon in 2017 and Greece 2018 eating off the street vendor or small kabob shop. So this family run business is amazingly good. It brought back such great memories of Mediterranean food. Extremely friendly service. Clean.

I visit this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I like how the customer service is always excellent and they keep the place neat consistently. Pricing is fair and they serve generous portions.

The various flavors of hummus were all delicious! We tried like 5 different ones. My husband got the beef and lamb plate. I got the beef and lamb yero. My yero was average and what you would ecpect,but paired with the price a good value. We met friends there and there was plenty of room for the six of us. Also looks like they are popular for take out and do party platters.

I’ve been driving by this place for a few weeks now and am so glad I tried it! It’s a little off the beaten path, as you can’t see it from the Raley’s shopping center. Delicious chicken gyro bowl, and a great value! Super nice staff and they have like 8 different flavors of hummus! They also have a kids menu with non spicy/not necessarily Mediterranean food and outdoor seating.

This is the 1st time that I have tried a gyro. I have been wanting to try one for a long time. It did not disappoint. I ordered the chicken gyro with no lettuce...extratzatziki sauce...and pesto hummus...Omg...this was fresh and amazing. Very filling. The pita bread was soft and fresh. The meat had good flavor and the hummus...explosion of flavor..I would highly recommend this place.

The food here is amazing and homey. I was craving Mediterranean food and decided to pop in after finding them on Google. I was surprised by how much I got for my money. They let you pick your hummus, what type of meat you want in your gyro, and other options. They're also really friendly and it's family owned. I attached below the three meat plate, gyro fries, and greek salad. Visit them, they offer patio eating, and drive thru pick up, and curb side pick up.

Ok, I managed to go to Extreme Hummus and not try their hummus. Shame on me, I know. What I did manage to try was their chicken shwarma and it was delicious. I had a bite of their rice too and it was fluffy and amazing. Also, I saw the local PD eat there and you know the joint is good when PD go there, right? What amazed me was that there was a drive thru, huge parking lot, indoor and outdoor seating. Good for food on the go or eat in. I'd be back to try the hummus, I promise.

Amazing Greek food. These guys know what they are making and its awesome. I dont like hummus but the owner with her specialty hummus made me like it alot. This place needs more customers for these amazing food. Please go here.

If you have never eaten here.....I highly suggest you do...from the gyro, to the hummus, to the falafel I never am disappointed. Always hot fresh food made to order.
